Bahcesehir University's Global Leadership Forum started to work with the Gala Dinner held on the evening of May 11, 2018. The opening speech of the evening, which Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov attended as guest of honor, was held by the Head of Government Leadership School and Director of BAU Institute of Social Sciences, Assoc. Dr. Burak Küntay. Assoc. Dr. Burak Küntay highlighted the high values reached by the Global Leadership Forum within the last twenty years. The topic of this year's event is titled with the "International Alliance's Road Seperation".

The Gala Dinner continued with a speech of Enver Yücel, Bahcesehir University's Chairman of the Board of Trustees, who emphasized that "if we can not catch 5-0 in education, 4-0 in industry is not a big deal".

The Rector of Bahçeşehir University, Dr. Şenay Yalçın, emphasized the importance they gave to the young values in his speech.
The participants then proudly watched 18 genetic artificial intelligence, facebook, bitcoin, and software projects of young participants between 13 and 25 years.

Together with Köksal Toptan, former Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, diplomatic mission chiefs and Marmara Group Foundation President Dr. Akkan Suver were also present at the Gala Dinner. Assoc. Dr. Burak Küntay, Rector Prof. Dr. Şenay Yalçın and BAU Chairman of the Board of Trustees Enver Yücel made a surprise and presented a memorial gift to their former Chairman Köksal Toptan for his ten years' participation. The works are ongoing on May 12 and May 13, 2018.
