Romania presented honoris causa to Dr. Suver

State of Romania gave honoris causa to Dr. Akkan Suver in Constanta Maritime University.

Dr. Suver received title of DOCTOR HONORIS CAUSA for "his outstanding contributions brought to mutual understanding and dialogue between cultures, religions, civil societies and governments and for encouraging social, economical, and political cooperation among neighboring countries to reach sustainable peaceful, stable conditions" with signatures of President of Senate Prof. Nicolae Buzbuchi and Rector Prof. Violeta Vale Ciucur.

Consul General of Turkey in Constanta Füsun Aramaz, Alina Barbulescu and many distinguished persons from Romania, Bahadır Aksoy, Alper Çetinoğlu, Prof. Dr. Tasin Gemil, Dr. Enis Tulça also attended the ceremony.

Dr. Suver, who received his honoris causa with Şamil Ayrım and Tarık Çetin, also attended the ceremont organized for his honor.

Dr. Suver, who made a speech in honoris causa ceremony, stressed importance of dialogue for peace.
