In the gathering, which Black Sea - Caspian Sea International Fund organized in European Union Parliament, Turkey received an award.

European Commissioner for Romania, Bulgaria and Malta Philippe Hatt gave the award to Deputy Minister for European Union of Turkey Alaattin Büyükkaya. President of BSCSIF Dr. Akkan Suver made a speech in the ceremony, which was attended by 300 guest including Members of European Parliaments and 3 European Ministers. President of European Parliament Martin Schulz, Vice-President of the European Commission  Siim Kallas and EU Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Dacian Ciolos also received rewards.

Dr. Suver told that, he sees European Union as a project of peace also gave information about Taksim – Gezi events.
