The house where the Great Statesman Alparslan Türkeş was born in TRNC (Nicosia) is restored and turned into a museum. In the opening of Alparslan Türkeş Museum which is made by Vice President of Turkey Fuat Oktay, TRNC of Prime Minister Ersin Tatar, Tuğrul Türkeş and Prof. Dr. Umay Türkeş, President of Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Akkan Suver and Member of Board of Trustees of Marmara Group Foundation Prof. Dr. Ugur Özgöker were also present.

Dr. Akkan Suver, who also signed the Memorial Book of the Museum thanked the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Turkish Cypriot authorities who created the work.
