Burhan Felek award has been presented to the Vice Chairman of Marmara Group Foundation Engin Köklüçınar. Chairman of Istanbul Journalists Association Turgay Olcayto, Former Chairman of Istanbul Journalists Association Orhan Erinç and Journalist Bedii Faik presented the award to Engin Köklüçınar. “Today is the happiest day of my life” Engin Köklüçınar said.

President of Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Akkan Suver published a message concerning the Burhan Felek Award Ceremony and remarked that Engin Köklüçınar is a real Journalist. The message of Dr. Suver is below:,

"My beloved Brother, Dear Friend,

I couldn’t attend to the Award Ceremony and so I am not with you in your happiest day today.

I am so said that this situation caused leaving you alone in your “Great Honor Day”.

You have already deserved the Burhan Felek Award

Engin Köklüçınar devoted his life to Cağaloğlu Slope (Cağaloğlu Yokuşu) and Turkish Press. Köklüçınar is a plane tree of the Turkish press like his surname. This award is a confirmation.
