Dr. Akkan Suver made a speech titled “Tolerance and Civilization” at “the Islamic Enlightenment and the Modern Age” meeting  in Baku. Marmara Group Foundation attended the meeting with a delegation of Dr. Akkan Suver, Şamil Ayrım and Cengiz Güldamlası.

From Turkey, Vice President Dr. Hasan K. Yılmaz from the Presidency of Religious Affairs of Turkish Republic attended the meeting. Dr. Akkan Suver come together with the organizator of the Seyh-ul Islam of Azerbaijan Allahşükür Paşazade.

During the meeting, Dr. Akkan Suver, Hon. Şamil Ayrım and Cengiz Güldamlası met with Minister of State H.E. Mübariz Kurbanlı who is responsible for the religious institutions.

Holding a various official talks in Baku, Dr. Akkan Suver, Hon. Şamil Ayrım and Hon. Cengiz Güldamlası were received by the Vice President of Azerbaijan H.E. Prof. Dr. Ali Hasanov, Vice- Prime Minister of Azerbaijan H.E. Ali Ahmedov and Minister of State of Azerbaijan H.E. Nazım İbrahimov separately.
