Dr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Foundation, who represented the Montenegro State as Honorary Consul General in Istanbul for about twelve years, resigned from his position as of January-2020, when the State of Montenegro opened th official Consulate General in Istanbul.

Dr. Akkan Suver, who represented the State of Montenegro as Honorary Consul General in Istanbul in 2008-2020, this time appointed as the Honorary Consul of the Montenegro State in Balıkesir.

Dr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Foundation, whose appointment has been approved by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will start his post as the Montenegro Balıkesir Honorary Consul at the beginning of February.
