Dr. Fatih Saraçoğlu participated at the "Levant Initiative for Global Peace through Cultural Diplomacy" that was organized from 20th to 21st of November by Emil Constantinescu, Former President of Romania (1996-2000) on behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation. On the first day, Dr. Saraçoğlu held his speech in representation of Dr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Foundation, in the first panel of the Levantine Conference. On the second day, he presented his own speech to the audience; he emphasized the importance of Turkey contribution to the Silk Road.

Both speeches awoke great interest at the panels.

The attendees of different foreign nations were in various citations and spoke in praise about the Marmara Group Foundation. The importance of Turkey in the Levantine region was emphasized in different panels of the conference like Dr. Saraçoğlu already presented in his first speech.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Romania, Koray Ertaş, honored the Marmara Group Foundation as well as the other participants with his presence at the conference.
