Akkan Suver participated in the traditional Olive Fest that was organized in Bar, Montenegro. The people of Bar combine the fest in which the historical and economic values of the olive tree with the 24th of November, the day Bar was liberated from the Second World War; this year, they invited participants from Turkey's Küçükkuyu Municipality and Adana Municipality to the activities.

The Partisan resistance movement was also remembered by a spectacular musical presentation of the Bar the Bar people, which hosted the Mayors of Greece's Korfu and Serbia's Novi Pazar with a group of Albanian, Russian, German and Bosnian militarists.
Dr. Akkan Suver, who was hosted by Dr. Zoran Srzentic, Mayor the Bar Municipality, also emphasized the importance of Bar in Montenegro tourism in his speech he held at the fest.
