Honorary Consulate of Montenegro (Montenegro) Balıkesir, was opened by hoisting a flag to the post with a ceremony attended by Honorary Consul Dr. Akkan Suver and Mayor of Küçükkuyu Cengiz Balkan.

Küçükkkuyu Mayor Cengiz Balkan, who also hung the Montenegro emblem on the wall, said that the Montenegrins living in the region are very happy to open a Consulate in the area covering the Balıkesir-Çanakkale region, in his speech at the ceremony.
