Javad Maboudifar, Consul General of Iran in Istanbul, organized a reception and celebrated the historical anniversary of the Consulate General of Iran in Istanbul and the 150th anniversary of Ahter Newspaper published in Istanbul. In the celebration ceremony, in which Iranian Ambassador to Ankara Mohammad Farazmand was also present, Prof. Dr. İlber Ortaylı gave a conference and made evaluations on Turkish and Iranian culture. In addition to the foreign mission chiefs in Istanbul at the conference, Dr. Akkan Suver, Cafer Okray and Durmuş Çelen were also present.
