In the meeting where rostrum is chaired by Prof. Atilla Dicle, Prof. Tunç Erem pinned the Marmara Group Foundation Medal of Honor to Ambassador Zeynalov. In the meeting President of Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Akkan Suver, Prof. Ali Hasanov from Azerbaijan, MP Sabir Rüstemhanlı, Ass. Prof. Sona Veliyeva, Prof. Ersin Kalaycıoğlu, Prof. Sema Kalaycıoğlu, Prof. Ahmet İncekara, Prof. Akile Gürsoy, Prof. Ahmet Samsunlu, Prof. Ali Nezihi Bilge, Prof. Ülkü Dicle, (F) MP Şamil Ayrım, (F) MP Ertuğrul Kumcuoğlu, Yaman Törüner and many other distinguished figures were present.

 Diplomatic mission representatives from PR China, United States of America, France, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Bosnia Herzegovina, Serbia, India, Kosovo, Turkmenistan, Austria, Kyrgzstan, Bulgaria and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus have also attended the meeting where Prof. İlber Ortaylı emphasized the necessity of celebrating the Newruz as the common new year of the Turkic World.
