Marmara Group Foundation General Assembly was held

Marmara Group Foundation General Assembly was held in Istanbul, Malta Kiosk. Secretary General Cafer Okray opened the General Assembly held at the presidency of the Presidency Council, composed of Former Deputy Ertuğrul Kumcuoğlu, Prof. Dr. Akile Gürsoy, Dr. Hüseyin Avcı and Ahmet Doğan Arıkan, under the chairmanship of former Minister Prof. Dr. Ahmet Samsunlu. Speaking after a moment of silence, President Dr. Akkan Suver presented a summary of the year we left behind. After Dr. Suver's speech, the members Ahmet Doğan Arıkan, Kenan Akın, Atty. Aysel Yürür and Ahmet Polat spoke separately and congratulated the Management by making speeches that brought the success of the activities to the agenda.

After Muhammet Akyol submitted the financial report, H. Gökhan Humbaracı read the Audit report. Then, the Sworn-in Certified Public Accountant Bülent Soylan presented the Financial Audit Report. Both the activities and the financial report were released. Both Management activities and financial expenditures were released unanimously through separate voting. On behalf of the management, General Secretary Cafer Okray thanked. Engin Köklüçınar stated that there are friends who want to join the Foundation. Presented the candidates. Evrim Timur, Genesis Molu, Assoc. Dr. Ural Aküzüm, Atty. Kenan Madenoğlu, Sercan Kavuşan and Volkan Şahinoğlu spoke respectively. Each candidate made a speech introducing themselves. New members were unanimously accepted.

Afterwards elections were started. As a result of the elections, While Dr. Akkan Suver, Yüksel Çengel, Engin Köklüçınar, Ali Rıza Arslan, Cafer Okray, Lale Aytanç Nalbant, Atty. Serhat Tabanca, Sezgin Bilgiç and Turan Sarıgülle were forming the Executive Council, Prof. Dr. Uğur Özgöker, Alaaddin Koçak and H. Gökhan Humbaracı were also appointed as members of the Supervisory Board. President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Samsunlu called upon Dr. Akkan Suver to speak.

In his vote of thanks speech, Dr. Suver emphasized the high solidarity of the Foundation.
