The delegation of the Marmara Group Foundation that consisted of Dr. Akkan Suver, Şamil Ayrım, Fatih Arslan ve Murat Uçak, were hosted as guests of the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov. During their visit in Tashkent, where Dr. Suver and his colleagues were in high-level contact with Dr. Vladimir Norov, President of the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies, they decided to make future joint works. The parties emphasized the importance of exhibiting a sample work in the field of civilian thinking in the region's countries as well as the need to work for the future. During the time they were in Uzbekistan, the Marmara Group Foundation's delegation was also accepted by the State Investment Committee. They visited Tashkent City, a sample for smart cities. Dr. Akkan Suver, gave an interview to the Uzbek television, where he stated that Uzbekistan will be represented at the 21st Eurasian Economic Summit. At the two-day visit, Ahmet Başar Şen, Ambassador of Turkey, received the delegation of the Marmara Group Foundation in his office.
