On the occasion of the 28^th year of independence, the Consul General of Ukraine in Istanbul Olexander Gaman gave a Reception at the Sheraton Hotel. In addition to the Ambassador of Ukraine to Ankara, the reception was attended by civilian and diplomatic mission chiefs in Istanbul.

The Crimean Tatars in Istanbul were present at the Reception, attended by Müjgan and Dr. Akkan Suver, representing the Marmara Group Foundation.
