Mongolian Ambassador to Ankara Bold Radvan gave a dinner for the Members of the Turkish Parliament who are also members of the Turkish-Mongolian Parliamentary Group. At the dinner, Turkish-Mongolian political, social and cultural issues were discussed. On behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation, Şamil Ayrım participated at the dinner; he held a speech in which he emphasized his insights he made during his visit to Mongolia he made a month ago.

His works and services were not only important for Azerbaijan, but also for the great Turkish world. He worked for the realization of the Turkish unity; especially bringing the Turkish-Azerbaijani relations to the highest level was one of his biggest aims. We have lost İbrahim Çağlar, Head of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce. İbrahim Çağlar, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Marmara Group Foundation and Academic Council Member, was also a participant of the Eurasian Economic Summits. We are in deep sorrow for İbrahim Çağlar, who sincerely took part in the work of our Foundation and whom we lost very young. We will make our memories last forever for our friend. We present our deepest condolences to the Turkish business community and all members of the Marmara Group Foundation.

Polish Consul General organized a New Year's Concert

Andrzej Papierz, Consul General of Poland in Istanbul organized a New Year's Concert at Saint Antoine's Church due to the upcoming New Year. At the recital accompanied by Marek Ruszczynski, one of the well-known pianists of Poland,Poland's famous Mezzosoprano Magdalena Cornelius gave an exceptional concert. A big audience attended the concert where the works of numerous composers from Bach to Chopin, from Paderewski to Saint Saens, were exhibited; Patriarch Bartholomeos, spiritual leaders and foreign mission chiefs from Istanbul were part of the audience.

On behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation, a delegation consisting of Dr. Akkan Suver, Cafer Okray and Ali Rıza Arslan, visited the Austrian Consul General Gerhard Lutz in his office to present information about the 21st Eurasian Economic Summit. Consul General Gerhard Lutz stated that Austria would work on a high-level participation at Marmara Group Foundation's Eurasian Economic Summit.

Birthday Celebration of His Majesty the Japanese Emperor

Japanese Consul General Norio Ehara and his wife gave a reception on the occasion of the birthday of His Majesty the Japanese Emperor. The reception was attended by Diplomatic Mission Chief in Istanbul, as well as Japan's Ambassador to Ankara Akio Miyajima. İstanbul Deputy Governor İsmail Gültekin participated at the reception, representing the State. The Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Istanbul, Khalifa Abdurrahman Mohamed Al Marzooqi, gave a reception on the occasion of their 46th National Day. Assistant Governor İsmail Gültekin and District Governor of Başakşehir Kazım Tekin took part at the reception on behalf of the government. Besides Head of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry Erdal Bahçıvan, Board Member of TAV Mehmet Erdoğan and also foreign mission chiefs were present. The reception, which was attended by Dr. Akkan Suver on behalf of Marmara Group Foundation, lasted until late hours.
