Dr. Akkan Suver has been in Montenegro

Dr. Akkan Suver paid a one-day working visit to Montenegro. On his visit to Montenegro pertaining to the 20th Eurasian Economic Summit taking place next year, Dr. Akkan Suver was received by H.E. Filip Vujanović, President of Montenegro. During Dr. Suver's visit paid to H.E. Vujica Lazović, Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro and Hon. Zoran Srzentić, the Mayor of Bar, Mr Mehmet Kutman, the Chairman of Global Investment Holding was also present together with his delegation.

In the first anniversary of his demise, we commemorate Süleyman Demirel, the 9th President of Turkey. In accordance with it, Dr. Akkan Suver, the President of the Marmara Group Foundation, delivered a statement in regard to the first anniversary of his decease as follows; ‘We take a bow respectfully before his honourable memoirs of Süleyman Demirel.’

On behalf Turkey, the delegation of the Marmara Group Foundation consisting of Dr. Akkan Suver, Dr. Fatih Saraçoğlu, Müjgan Suver and Aslı Yanardağ participated in the meetings of Ambassadors of Knowledge held by the Life Learning Academy in Slovenia. The event was moderated by Ms. Marjetka Kastner – Director of the Life Learning Academy – and among the participants of the event, Edward de Bono, the worldwide known thinker was also present. Prof. Dr. Danica Purg, the worldwide known academician and instructor hosted in Bled the participants coming from Ljubljana.

On behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation, Mr Şamil Ayrım joined the delegation of H.E. Binali Yıldırım – Prime Minister of Turkey on his trip to Azerbaijan. H.E. İlham Aliyev – President of Azerbaijan received the delegation consisting of H.E. Binali Yıldırım- PM, H.E. Tuğrul Türkeş- Deputy PM of Turkey, H.E. İsmet Yılmaz- Minister of the National Education of Turkey and H.E. Ahmet Arslan – Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication of Turkey, Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar – President of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Friendship Group and H.E. Feridun Sinirlioğlu – the Undersecretary of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkey. Following the visit, the delegation paid a visit to the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, the Mausoleum of Heydar Aliyev and the Turkish Martyrs' Memorial as well.
