As part of the 19th Eurasian Economic Summit workings, on behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Akkan Suver visited the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany Hon. Georg BIRGELEN in his office and presented information. During the visit Dr. Suver highlighted the importance of the participation of Germany and stated that he would be very glad to host a delegation from Germany at the 19th Eurasian Economic Summit.

On behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation, consisting of Dr. Akkan Suver, Engin Köklüçınar, Cafer Okray visited the Syriac Orthodox Metropolitan Yusuf Çetin in his Office and extended gratitude due to his great attention to the Marmara Group Foundation for years. Marmara Group Foundation delegation informed Syriac Orthodox Metropolitan Yusuf Çetin regarding the 19th Eurasian Economic Summit and invited the religious leader Yusuf Çetin to the Summit activities to be realized on April 5-7 as well.

Gözlem Newspaper which publishes in Izmir, celebrated its 25th year. During the celebration evening that was held in historical Gazhane Building in Izmir, politicians, state responsibles, distinguished personalities and press members in İzmir took part alongside the founding president of the Newspaper Hon. Çetin Gürel and the female owner Mrs. Zeynep Gürel. Zeynep Gürel reflected her feelings regarding maintaining a Newspaper apart from Istanbul and carrying out a newspaper through 25 years with difficulties and responsibilities as saying ‘’ We have believed in Gözlem.
