The International Fegentri Race at the Türkiye Jockey Club

The Türkiye Jockey Club hosted the International Fegentri Amateur Women Riders Championship. The race was won by French jockey Margaux Colomb, riding Alavara, owned by Banu Alemdar Selpek. In addition to a large crowd of spectators, the race was attended by foreign mission chiefs in Istanbul. On the occasion of Victory Day on August 30, in the morning, the Istanbul Governorship hosted a ceremony where local and military authorities in Istanbul, as well as foreign mission chiefs, extended their congratulations to Istanbul Governor Davut Gül. Istanbul Governor received the congratulations together with the First Army Commander Lieutenant General Ali Sivri and the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Ekrem İmamoğlu. In this congratulatory event, representing the civil society, Dr. Akkan Suver and Hasan Yediyıldız from the Marmara Group Foundation were also present. In the evening, an event was held at the Archaeological Museum in celebration of August 30, hosted by Istanbul Governor Davut Gül and his wife.
