Marmara Group Foundation participated in the meeting of “World Peace Day” organized in People’s Republic of China. Between the dates of 19-26th of September, as representatives of Marmara Group Foundation, Dr. Akkan Suver, Şamil Ayrım and Cahit Karakullukçu attended to the meeting of “World Peace Day” as invitee of Chinese People’s Association for Peace and Disarmement. Abror Gulyamov, the Consul General of Uzbekistan to Istanbul visited Dr. Akkan Suver at Marmara Group Foundation. H.E. Gulyamov stressed the importance of civil initiatives with regards to the parliamentary election which will be held in December 2014 and presidential election which will be held in March 2015 in Uzbekistan. Dr. Akkan Suver presented the official invitation letter to H.E. Gulyamov by stating that Marmara Group Foundation attach great importance to the participation of Uzbekistan to 18th Eurasian Economic Summit. Abror Gulyamov who honored Marmara Group Foundation by signing the Guest Book of Marmara Group Foundation, stressed that the bilateral relations between Turkey and Uzbekistan should be promoted, as well.
