In the ceremony, which was held with the participation of members of parliament of Azerbaijan, diplomats, academicians and journalists on February 22,2017 in Baku, Cengiz Abdullayev, Mehmet Ali Nevruzoğlu, Seyyat Aran, Melahat Hasanova, Musa Guluyev, Aydın Hüseyinov, Aydın Heydarov, Yunus Oğuz, Ramis Asker, Halid Niyazov, Cengiz Güldamlası, Şamil Ayrım, Afet Mamayeva and Engin Köklüçınar held the floor to make a speech about the book.

The Minister of Tourism of Uzbekistan had a visit to The Marmara Group Foundation

The Marmara Group Foundation gave a dinner in honor of H.E. Sharapov Anvar, The Minister of Tourism of Uzbekistan. During the dinner in which the relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey for tourism became the main topic of conversation; H.E. Sharapov Anvar, the Minister of Tourism of Uzbekistan, who stated that not only the commercial and economic relations, but cultural relations have improved on a vast scale as well, emphasized that it is attached importance to development of touristic and bilateral relations between Turkey and Uzbekistan. Dr. Akkan Suver indicated to Minister H.E. Sharapov Anvar, who stated that in spite of the possible hardships due to the distance between two countries, the touristic regions and holiday destinations attract the citizens of Uzbekistan's attention, the potential touristic attractions thanks to history of Uzbekistan, rich culture and religious inheritance attract the Turkish citizens attention as well.

Müjgan Suver, The President of The Marmara Group Foundation EU and Human Rights Platform, made a speech during the panel having been held within the framework of the “7th Olive Fest" which was organized on February 11, 2017 by the Municipality of Küçükkuyu. The Fest activities, in which a lot of guests participated, began with the folk dances. After the exhibition of “There Are Kids On The Journey to Hope " , the panel having the theme of " Immigration and Millenarian Olive Trees crying For The Refugees Dying In Aegean Sea " was held. In the panel which was moderated by Bülent Tanık, the former Major of Çankaya, the subject of “Immigration and Millenarian Olive Trees crying For The Refugees Dying In Eagan Sea” was handled with the participations of Pınar Türenç, The President of Press Council, Dr. Hande Arpart, Central Council Member of TMA and Müjgan Suver, The President of The Marmara Group Foundation EU and Human Rights Platform. During the panel, Müjgan Suver brought up the social part of the current immigration problem in Aegean.

Checks and Balances Network Constitutional Meeting

Regarding the 20th Eurasian Economic Summit, The Marmara Group Foundation had meetings with Gabriel Şopanda the Ambassador of Romania, Genti Gazheli the Ambassador of Albania, Dr. Klaus Wölfer the Ambassador of Austria, Eitan Na'eh the Ambassador of Israel, Ulfat Kadyrov the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Yu Hongyang the Ambassador of People's Republic of China and Branko Milic the Ambassador of Montenegro, individually and discussed about the Summit. These countries have high level participation to the 20th Eurasian Economic Summit.

The Black Sea Meeting

On behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation, Mr. Şamil Ayrım, Dr. Fatih Saraçoğlu, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın and Ambassador Koray Ertaş participated in the meeting of co- exchanging opinions on the subject of the Black Sea that the Marmara Group Foundation and the New Strategy Center, which is located in Bucharest, collaboratively conducted with a civil society identity. The New Strategy Center is represented with the H.E. Ambassador Sergiu Celac, H.E. Prof. Dr. Iulian Fota and H.E. Ambassador Dan Dungaciu. With his civil society view, H.E. Koray Ertaş, the Turkish Ambassador to Romania was also present at the meeting, in which the subjects of collaboration in the Black Sea were handled.

The Marmara Group Foundation visits Romania

The delegation of The Marmara Group Foundation, who had been in Romania with the occasion of a meeting with New Strategy Center that is localized in Bucharest, was accepted by Ionut Vulpescu, Minister of Culture of Romania. The Marmara Group Foundation delegation, which consisted of Ambassador of Republic of Turkey in Bucharest Koray Ertaş, Dr. Fatih Saraçoğlu, Şamil Ayrım and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, was accepted by the third president of Romania H.E. Emil Constantinescu after the meeting with Ionut Vulpescu, Minister of Culture. The details of 20. Eurasian Economic Summit was discussed in the meeting. The delegation had dinner with Teodor Melescanu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania later on.

Honor to Hungarian Youth

Dr. Akkan Suver signed the Book of Condolence in Hungarian Consulate General in Istanbul. This Book of Condolence is prepared for 16 students who had passed away in Italy while they were having a tour for their semester holiday. Dr. Akkan Suver stated that he bowed respectfully before the memories of the students who had passed away. Moreover, he expressed Hungarian Nation's sympathy in behalf of Turkish civil society as well.
