Marmara Group Foundation’s Visit to Sarajevo

Marmara Group Foundation made a two-day working visit to Sarajevo within the framework of the 25th Eurasian Economic Summit preparations. The delegation, which was also accepted by the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marinko Čavara during their visit as the Marmara Group Foundation with their civil society identity, started their visits with Sadık Babür Girgin, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Sarajevo. Before starting their works, Dr. Akkan Suver and Cafer Okray left flowers on Aliya Izzetbegovic's Mausoleum and paid homage.

A Memorandum of Understanding was Signed in Sarajevo

A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Marmara Group Foundation with the aim of working together in the field of civil society. At the signing ceremony held in Sarajevo, President of the Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Akkan Suver and President of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ahmet Egrlic signed a signed a memorandum of understanding and agreed to exchange views and cooperate in the field of civil thought. At the signing ceremony, Commercial Counselor of Turkey at the Turkish Embassy in Sarajevo Sevgin Güngör and Secretary General of the Marmara Group Foundation Cafer Okray, Vice President Sezgin Bilgiç and Executive Boad Members Oğuzhan Ceylan and Atty. The Marmara Group Foundation Delegation in Sarajevo paid a courtesy visit to Ambassador of Turkey in Sarajevo Sadık Babür Girgin. President of the Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Akkan Suver, Vice President Sezgin Bilgiç, Secretary General Cafer Okray and members of the Executive Board Oğuzhan Ceylan and Atty. Belgin Tanrıverdi were present in the visit. Eduard Kukan Passed Away

Eduard Kukan, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia (1998-2006), passed away. Eduard Kukan had close relations with the Turkish media while serving in the European Parliament and he visited Turkey in 2004 during his term as the Minister of Foreign Affairs.  We offer our deepest sympathies and condolences as the Marmara Group Foundation.
