Marmara Group Foundation with support of the gracious host Hungarian Consulate in Istanbul, organized a commemoration service in honor of the 78th anniversary of the passing away of Ataturk.

In the event, Ataturk Center in Azerbaijan President and Member of The Azerbaijani Parliament Prof. Dr. Nizami Caferov offered his speech on "Ataturk in Azerbaijan". During his speech to the officials on diplomatic duty, he conveyed the perspectives towards Ataturk through the writings and speeches of three historic figures Neriman Nerimanov, Mehmet Emin Resulzade and Haydar Aliyev. In turn, he covered the scientific and literary pieces on Ataturk from each period in chronological sequence.In the opening address Dr. Akkan Suver and H.E. Hungarian Consulate Balázs Hendrich highlighted the respect towards and significance of Ataturk in Hungary as well as Turkey.
