Within the scope of the Turkish Youth and Women for Democracy project that we are implementing, a team of ten people consisting of project representatives organized a workshop in Berlin.

The workshop was moderated by Assoc. Dr. Mesut Eren and representatives of non-governmental organizations working on democracy, youth and women in Berlin participated in the workshop. In the workshop, the mechanisms of participation of young people and women in democratic decision-making processes were evaluated and information was transferred to increase participation. The content of the policy guideline was discussed and information was provided on the theoretical / practical models of democratic participation.

Project partner, Turkish Women's Union representatives Yasemin Kültür, Ayşen Karakulak and Zeynep Şanal; Chairwoman of EU and Human Rights Platform of Marmara Group Foundation Müjgan Suver, Board Member Lale Aytanç Nalbant, Leyla Tavşanoğlu and project assistants Ömer Yıldırım and Ebrar Eda Demir were present. Also, Marmara University Faculty Member Assoc. Dr. Mesut Eren and Beykent University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Akile Gürsoy also attended the meeting.
