Andrzej Papierz, Consul General of Poland in Istanbul organized a New Year's Concert at Saint Antoine's Church due to the upcoming New Year. At the recital accompanied by Marek Ruszczynski, one of the well-known pianists of Poland,Poland's famous Mezzosoprano Magdalena Cornelius gave an exceptional concert. A big audience attended the concert where the works of numerous composers from Bach to Chopin, from Paderewski to Saint Saens, were exhibited; Patriarch Bartholomeos, spiritual leaders and foreign mission chiefs from Istanbul were part of the audience.
