Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew gave a reception on the occasion of the anniversary of the establishment of the Istanbul Greek Orthodox Patriarchate by the Apostle St. Andrea.  The reception started with a concert by Soprano Esra Özbir accompanied by pianist Baruş Büyükyıldırım. Afterwards, Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew gave a speech in Greek, Turkish and English with the content of peace giving information about the history of the Patriarchate. At the reception, Deputy Governor of Istanbul Özlem Bozkurt Gevrek, Foreign Mission Chiefs, Spiritual Leaders, Civil Society Leaders and Greek citizens were present. Dr. Akkan Suver, Müjgan Suver and Mahmut Saklı also represented as the Marmara Group Foundation at the receptio.
