Dr. Akkan Suver re-elected as the chairman.

The ordinary general assembly of the Marmara Group Foundation was held at the Pink Greenhouse located in Yıldız Park, Istanbul.

The General Assembly, which had a wide participation, was chaired by the Presidency Council consisting of Prof. Dr. Uğur Özgöker, Ahmet Doğan Arıkan, Yalçın Sönmez, Dr. Hüseyin Avcı, and Prof. Dr. Sedefhan Oğuz.

After Dr. Akkan Suver read the activity report, Köksal Bilgiç presented the audit report. Later, Bülent Soylan and Muhammed Akyol presented the budget and balance sheet.

Subsequently, the elections were held.

After the elections, Dr. Akkan Suver formed the Executive Council, consisting of Cafer Okray, Sezgin Bilgiç, Lale Aytanç Nalbant, Serhat Tabanca, Ümran Köksüz, Mustafa Ergin, Oğuzhan Ceylan and Mahmut Saklı.

The reserve members of the Executive Council were Ahmet Polat, Rahmi Dilek, Belgin Tanrıverdi, Nimet Ulubay, Av. Murat Keçeciler, Prof. Dr. Özgür Çengel, Prof. Dr. Figen Yıldırım, Ferit Sağ, Hasan Yediyıldız.

The primary members of the audit committee were Gökhan Humbaracı, Alaaddin Koçak, and Göksel Bilgiç. The reserve members of the audit committee were Aysel Yürür, Mustafa Pakoğlu, and Gülçin Güngören.

After the General Assembly, Dr. Akkan Suver expressed his gratitude for the trust shown.
