Before the begining of Ramadan, The Marmara Foundation decided to host fast-breaking meals to needers, instead of hosting fast-breaking meals to rich people at 5-star hotels. In line with this decision The Marmara Foundation hosted its second fast-breaking meal in Esenler after hosting its first fast-breaking meal in Darülaceze.(Poorhouse)

At the fast-breaking meal for 423 orphan children who are in Esenler Municipality’s care, The Marmara Group Foundation was represented by board members under the presidency of Secretary General Engin Köklüçınar.

Köklüçınar had a speech at the fast-breaking meal which was also attended by Esenler Mayor M. Tevfik Göksu and aldermen. Köklüçınar said that it was being understood that leading to put an end of luxury fast-breaking meals was a right decision. He added that hosting a fast-breaking meal to needers was a thing that clears host’s conscience. Köklüçınar put an end to his speech with thanking to Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Kadir Topbaş who leads the giving fast-breaking meals to needers, and Esenler Mayor M. Tevfik Göksu.

Esenler Mayor M. Tevfik Göksu thanked to The Marmara Group Foundation and said that Esenler Municipality was always ready to support those kinds of activities.

Prayer of the fast breaking meal which was attended by approximately 600 people was a 10 year old disabled child.
