The Marmara Group Foundation attended to the Academic Economy Congress by Life Learning Academia.
On behalf of the Marmara Group Foundation, Dr. Akkan Suver, Müjgan Suver, Şamil Ayrım, Gülhan Ayrım, Dr. Fatih Saraçoğlu and Aslı Gezmis were present at the Annual Academy of Economics Congress organized by Life Learning Academy in Slovenia's capital city Ljubljana.As the Guest of Honor, Dr. Akkan Suver delivered a speech on "mentoring and guidance" in the opening ceremony.
The other guest of honor of the meeting was the (F) President of Croatia Stjepan Mesic. In the Academic Economy Congress held in Ljubljana, thinkers from Serbia, the United States, Austria, England, Cyprus, Malta, Britain and Bosnia and Herzegovina were present.The young Elif Yanardağ was also given a Mentee Reference Award for her successful kitchen work.
During their stay in Ljubljana, Slovenian former Prime Minister Alenka Bratusek also gave a dinner in honor of the Marmara Group Foundation delegation that was accepted by the Turkish Ambassador Esen Altuğ.

I would like to extend my gratitude to the Life Learning Academy Family and especially to Mme. Marjetka Kastner, on behalf of my own and my friends, for bringing us together here and welcoming us with a perfect host.
I see the concept of mentoring organized by the Life Learning Academy as a roadmap for a successful future.
And I describe the concept of mentoring as guidance. Because, everybody who is well trained and has achieved the success with distinctness has a mentor.
And again it must be known that societies need service. In order to be able to provide this service, leaders and exemplary people are required. Leaders and exemplary people are also from the ones who has good mentors and guides. Hence, mentoring and guidance are very important in terms of the future of mankind.
I would like to speak to you from my own field if you don't mind.
The world is undergoing incredible changes at a pace that globalization has caught.
Donald Trump said "Make America Great Again" in America and came into power.
Prime Minister of United Kingdom Theresa May is pursuing a triumph in the election by saying Brexit to the a peace project European Union, which they returned twice from its door.
In France, a young man named Emmanuel Macron says "En Marche" and gets the presidency of France from the hands of shrewd politics.
Another young man, Aleksis Çipras, who does not wear a tie in Greece, succeeds in saving Greece from debt by bringing Europe to heel.
These are the persons who have mentors and guides. Now, they are also mentors. Just as you will be in the near future.
While these are happening in America and Europe, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in Asia brought another dimension to globalization this month with another mentoring event. He started the project of a One Belt - One Road (Silk Road) bringing together about 65 countries.
While the new model of globalization emerged by the President of the People's Republic of China was accepted by Asian, European and African leaders, the Presidents of the countries like Peru and Chile also wanted the maritime part of this project to include Latin America.
The Secretary-General of the United Nations went even further and emphasized that America and Australia should not stay out of this project.

More than sixty countries which take in consideration that knowledge and spiritual values have changed in an effective manner showed their determination to act in unison. Therefore, co-operation in peace and respect culture, which is the most important condition for victory of universal principles in order to prevent any kind of conflict among religions, ethnic groups and individuals, took place with determination.
I see this as an opportunity as the most permanent way for European Union members to adapt to ethnic and cultural differences. Again with this project, there is a new chance door that can explain away the worries of the Balkans and meet expectations. Again, this project is a new basis for our world not to turn into a split place, not to create new walls and new lines of division.

I said it at the beginning of my words. Society always needs service. Leadership is also in need.
