Within the scope of the Turkish Youth and Women for Democracy Project, which we are implementing as the Marmara Group Foundation, representatives of partner institutions of the project visited the Berlin Embassy.

Undersecretary of the Embassy of Berlin Mr. Umut Topçuoğlu made assessments on the educational and social lives of Turkish citizens living in Berlin.

Ali İhsan İzbul, Undersecretary of the Berlin Embassy, provided information on the participation of young people and women in democratic decision-making processes in the international arena.

Within the scope of the meeting, the MEB Education Counselor Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız gave information about the participation of Turkish youth and women living in Germany to the politics and education processes. Information and experience was shared on increasing the participation of women and youth in democratic processes.

Project partner, Turkish Women's Union representatives Yasemin Kültür, Ayşen Karakulak and Zeynep Şanal; Chairwoman of EU and Human Rights Platform of Marmara Group Foundation Müjgan Suver, Board Member Lale Aytanç Nalbant, Leyla Tavşanoğlu and project assistants Ömer Yıldırım and Ebrar Eda Demir were present. Also, Marmara University Faculty Member Assoc. Dr. Mesut Eren and Beykent University Faculty Member Akile Gürsoy also attended the meeting.
