Bernard Lewis who is one of the most important names in the Middle East history, lost his life at 102. Bernard Lewis was a guest of honor at a meeting organized by the Marmara Group Foundation on 4 February 2003. At Bush administration, Bernard Lewis known as father of ideas in Middle East Policy, was a person who specializes in matters such as Islamic History, Islam and Western Relations. He was also known for his rejection of the Armenian allegations and his thesis on this subject. Marmara Group Foundation sees the loss of Bernard Lewis as a major loss in the history of World thought. With the death of Bernard Lewis, mankind has lost a personality that can not be filled easily. We are bowing in front of the memory of the Saint.
