Working Group of Equality of Women and Men.
The Working Group of Social Gender Equality created within the framework of TÜSİAD is an entity aiming at increasing social awareness of women’s involvement. This approach is rooted within the founding philosophy of the EU and Human Rights Platform of the Marmara Group Foundation. Mrs. Müjgan Suver, presiding the EU and Human Rights Platform of the Marmara Group Foundation, acts as a consultant member. So as to enhance the status of women in society with the help of increasing their visibility and revealing their potential and urge the relevant local groups to embrace this issue, the TÜSİAD’s Social Gender Equality Working Group prompts governments, business world, civil society and international institutions through campaigns at the thought of invoking the common responsibilities at different times.
