The introduction and opening meeting of “Disaster Resistant Cities - Avcılar ” Project to be realized jointly by Marmara Group Foundation and Avcılar Municipality was held at IBB Deniz Köşkleri Social Facilities in Avcılar.
Dr. Akkan Suver made a speech introducing both the Marmara Group Foundation and the project at the opening ceremony attended by Mayor of Avcılar Utku Caner Çaykara.

Mayor Çaykara stated that they are honored to contribute to this project as Avcılar Municipality.

The meeting continued with the briefing of Eyüp Ural, the project manager, and then ended with an interactive session with Oğuz Şen, Ahmet Taşkın and Eyüp Ural as speakers.
