Yanka Kupala* exhibition was opened in Istanbul Bakirkoy by the Belarusian Consulate General and Belarus' Bagach Festival** was celebrated.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by Marmara Group Foundation President Dr. Akkan Suver and Member of the Board of Trustees Mahmut Saklı.

* Yanka Kupala is a Belarusian poet, playwright, translator, journalist, classical author of Belarusian literature. In 2022, Belarus will celebrate 140th Anniversary since his birth.

**The ancient national calendar includes BAGACH feast as the one dedicated to the end of harvesting, celebrating fertility and family well-being and marks the first fire set to the home furnace with a wax candle installed and stored in the corner throughout the year to follow.
