25. Eurasian Economic Summits Cup Run was held
The Eurasian Economic Summits Cup Race, which has been held by the Jockey Club of Turkey for 14 years, was held at the Veliefendi Hippodrome.

The horse named Villager Song, owned by Deniz Kurtel and jockeyed by A. Aslan, won the Eurasian Economic Summits Cup Race organized this year.
On behalf of Deniz Kurtel, Villager Song's owner Mehmet Demir was awarded the Cup by Asaf Hajiyev, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization.
Dr. Akkan Suver also presented the Marmara Group Foundation's Memorial Gift to Mehmet Demir on behalf of Deniz Kurtel.
