In his speech, Undersecretary Saran enlightened the participants about the structure and functions of the Under-secretariat for Public Order and Security. Undersecretary Saran also highlighted the strategy and policy making aspect of the Under-secretariat for Public Order and Security informed the attendees about Turkey's need for a more integrated security system and the efforts that are being made in this vein as well.
