Turkey's last Ambassador to Syria, (R) Ambassador Ömer Önhon, gave a conference on Turkey-Syria relations at the Marmara Group Foundation. Ambassador Ömer Önhon, who also wrote a book on Syria, gave examples from his experiences and from the events he witnessed in the international meetings in his speech. The conference moderated by Dr. Akkan started with the reading of Ambassador Ömer Önhon's biography by Atty. Belgin Tanrıverdi and continued with the contributions and questions of Prof. Dr. İlter Turan, Ertuğrul Kumcuoğlu, Prof. Dr. Sema Kalaycıoğlu and Prof. Dr. Şenay Yalçın.
