Dr. Akkan Suver spoke at the International Heydar Aliyev Conference held in commemoration of his 100th birth anniversary. During the event conducted via Zoom, Dr. Akkan Suver shared his memories related to Haydar Aliyev. Evaluating Heydar Aliyev as the Founding Leader of modern Azerbaijan, Dr. Akkan Suver stated that without him, there would not have been the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Oil Pipeline.

Representatives including ambassadors, parliament members, and academics from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, France, the USA, Pakistan, Israel, and Russia participated in the meeting. Şamil Ayrım, a Member of Parliament from Istanbul, Türkiye, also took the floor and shared his memories.
