President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev presented a “Dostluk” (Friendship) order and “Terakki” (Progress) medal to a Dr. Akkan Suver on the sidelines of the third World Azerbaijanis Congress, held 5-6^th July, for his contribution to strengthening friendship among peoples and developing Azerbaijani diaspora and for his works on behalf of peace in the Caucasus to put forward the dialogue. During the medal seremony, Ilham Aliyev decorated Dr. Suver the medal, Aliyev’s wife Mihriban Aliyava and his daughter Leyla Aliyava standed ready. Dr. Suver, in 2005, again by Ilham Aliyev, was honored with the Medal of Progress.
