During the visits in Azerbaijan, the delegation of the Marmara Group Foundation was received by H.E. Ramin Guluzade, the Minister of Communications and High Technologies and submitted an invitation letter to him for the 19th Eurasian Economic Summit at the time of the visit paid at his Office.

Within the framework of the 19^th Eurasian Economic Summit of 2016, Dr. Akkan Suver, Mr. Şamil Ayrım and Mr. Cengiz Güldamlası paid a two-day working visit to Baku and joined the morning program of Yenigün live-broadcast on the İçtimai TV of Azerbaijan to tell of the upcoming Summit in Istanbul. During the live-broadcast Dr. Suver and Mr. Ayrım expressed their gratitude thanks to the high considerations given so far by Azerbaijan for the Eurasian Economic Summits and made mention of the subjects of Economy, Energy, Terrorism and Forced Migration to be touched upon at this year’s Summit.
