Marmara Group Foundation President Dr. Akkan Suver made a statement to Azertac Ankara Representative Sabir Şahttahtı about Azerbaijan, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and two major events took place in three days.

The statement made by Dr. Akkan Suver to Azertac is exactly as follows:

Azerbaijan has contributed to the fight with the Corona virus in the last three days with two major events. One of these activities was scientific and the other was social. Scientificly: President Ilham Aliyev gathered the Turkish-Speaking States Cooperation Organization extraordinarily, and socially waved the Turkish Flag by reflecting at the Haydar Aliyev Cultural Center in Baku.

The reflection of the Azerbaijani flag and the Turkish Flag at the Haydar Aliyev Cultural Center in Azerbaijan took a large part in the Turkish media. This act, which is a good example of the Turkey- Azerbaijan partnership and solidarity in the combat against Coronavirus, created a big gratitude. I would also like to point out that the Turkish nation attaches great importance to the two flags flying together.

In the meantime, I would like to point out that by highlighting it, one day later Ankara, in Odakule made another goodwill gesture. He also reflected the Azerbaijani Flag and the Turkish Flag together, and wrote “Thank You Dear Azerbaijan” below the flags. All these are beautiful and magnificent measures of togetherness.

It is also considered as a great solidarity in means of given importance to the science that gathering three days ago Turkish-Speaking States Cooperation Organization headed by President İlham Aliyev, the via a video conference on the subject of the combat with Coronavirus. It is important to ensure that the Director of the World Health Organization also participates in this scientific video conference, which is organized in an environment where the world is experiencing difficult times in terms of health. It is important for Azerbaijan to establish this scientific and political union that sets an example for international solidarity in the field of war with the Corona virus, in order to continue the struggle together.

In the field of international struggle, I would like to thank our Azerbaijani brothers and sisters who held two big events together, one scientific and the other social, and the laborers who spontaneously counter-gestured in Ankara.
