This year, the Marmara Group Foundation participated in the 5th World Media Summit held in the city of Guangdong, People's Republic of China, with its civil society identity.

A delegation from the Marmara Group Foundation, consisting of Dr. Akkan Suver, Oğuzhan Ceylan, and Mahmut Saklı, attended the 5th World Media Summit along with representatives from Türkiye: Oğuz Enis Peru from the Anadolu Agency and Doğukan Ünal from the Demirören News Agency. The summit, which was attended by 101 countries, also had the presence of Ismail Hakkı Musa, the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiyein Beijing, and Kaan Başkurt, the Consul General in Guangzhou.
