Marmara Group Foundation was in Cyprus

 

Within the framework of the 21st Eurasian Economic Summit's promotional visits, Dr. Akkan Suver, Şamil Ayrım and Ali Rıza Arslan were guests in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus for a one-day study visit. They started by visiting Derya Kanbay, Ambassador of Turkey to Nicosia in his office. Dr. Suver and his colleagues held an informational presentation to Ambassador Derya Kanbay regarding the 21st Eurasian Economic Summit to be held on April 11-12, 2018.

 

Visiting Dr. Derviş Eroğlu

Dr. Suver, Şamil Ayrım and Ali Rıza Arslan, who also visited former President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Dr. Derviş Eroğlu, presented information about the studies the Marmara Group Foundation carries out in the field of civil society.
 

 

Visiting Mehmet Harmancı

The Delegation that made another visit to Mehmet Harmancı, Mayor of Nicosia, invited Harmancı as speaker to the "Smart Cities" Panel to be realized at the 21st Eurasian Economic Summit. The mayor who accepted the invitation, also provided information about Nicosia.
 

Marmara Group Foundation at the American University of Cyprus

The executives of the Marmara Group Foundation made a visit to the American University of Cyprus (AUC). The delegation consisting of the Foundations President Dr. Akkan Suver, Vice President Ali Rıza Arslan and Deputy President, former Member of Parliament Şamil Ayrım, held a meeting with vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Serdar Saydam and Prof. Dr. Ulvi Keser, dean of the faculty of Political Science. While Prof. Dr. Serdar Saydam presented information regarding the AUC, Prof. Dr. Ulvi Keser informed the delegation of the Marmara Group Foundation about the Arabahmet region. The parties agreed on the future cooperation between Marmara Group Foundation and AUC.


    

Commemorating Denktaş

The delegation of the Marmara Group Foundation also visited the memorial tomb of Rauf Denktaş, founding President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, by putting flowers on the grave, they commemorated Denktaş.
