Mujibur Rahman, the Founder of Bangladesh, was commemorated in Istanbul on his birth centenary. Directed by Shakil Reja Efti, with the title "Turkey Remembers Bangabandhu", Consul General of Bangladesh in Istanbul Dr. Monir Islam held a Film Reception. The film started with the speech of the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh. In the film screened at the reception, the similarities between Atatürk and Sheikh Mujibur Rahman were also mentioned. Dr. Akkan Suver and Müjgan Suver were also present at the reception.
