The Hungarian National Day was celebrated with a Reception by the Consul General of Hungary Laszlo Keller at the Hungarian Cultural Center in Istanbul. To the reception which is attended by Ambassador of Hungary to Ankara Viktor Matis, Deputy Governor of Istanbul Cemalettin Özdemir, President of Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Akkan Suver, as well as representatives of diplomatic missions of many countries attended.

Speaking at the event, which started after singing the national anthems of the two countries, Ambassador Viktor Matis and Consul General Laszlo Keller talked about the values of Turkish-Hungarian relations and the democratic structure of the Hungarians.
