In the Presidential election in Azerbaijan, which had the participation of 7 candidates, the Marmara Group Foundation was present as an Observer.

The delegation from the Marmara Group Foundation, consisting of Dr. Akkan Suver, Sezgin Bilgiç, and Prof. Dr. Özgür Çengel, visited approximately 40 election precincts.

The delegation, announcing their observations to various television channels and press members, summarized that "They witnessed an election in line with Western norms".
