The President of the PR China's Shanghai International Research Institutes Yang Jieman chaired a delegation along with PR China's Consul General Qingyang Zhang to visit Marmara Group Foundation in order to exchange views on the strategic planning knows as ''Silk Road Economic Road''.

Dr. Akkan Suver, Ertuğrul Kumcuoğlu, Dr. Fatih Recep Saraçoğlu and Prof. Atilla Dicle attended the meeting on behalf of Marmara Group Foundation.

Dr. Suver informed the Chinese Delegation about the importance the Marmara Group Foundation attaches to the ''Silk Road Economic Belt''. He further emphasized on the necessity of the cultural, energy and sustainable relations dimension of the strategy must be addressed rather than only focusing on the commercial aspect and said that the Silk Road will once again create a road map that extends from Pacific to the Baltic.
