The union created by Azerbaijani young people who came to Turkey 25 years ago for educational reasons was renovated with an event organized in the Bulvar Hotel in Baku.

Şamil Ayrım, Köksal Toptan and Hikmet Çetin who were hosting them at that time in Turkey were invited to the night where the young people gave their thanks. Şamil Ayrım held a speech at the event; he expressed his thoughts by the following: "By embracing 10.000 Turkish people at that day, we are proud today of having made such a decisive decision and of being together with the children that grew out of this project." The night came to an end after President Fariz Cemil and Mahire T. Sadıqova presented memorial plaques with pictures of Qobustan city to their guests.
