The Türkiye Jockey Club hosted the International Fegentri Amateur Women Riders Championship. The race was won by French jockey Margaux Colomb, riding Alavara, owned by Banu Alemdar Selpek.

In addition to a large crowd of spectators, the race was attended by foreign mission chiefs in Istanbul. President of the Marmara Group Foundation Dr. Akkan Suver, along with Müjgan Suver, Mahmut Saklı, and Hasan Yediyıldız, were also present. The Marmara Group Foundation delegation watched the races with (E) Chief Prosecutor Aykut Cengiz Engin.
