The delegation of the Marmara Group Foundation, which has continued its contacts in the People's Republic of China, completed its official contacts in Beijing and then flown to Chengdu. The Marmara Group Foundation, which made its first visit to Sichuan University in Chengdu, accepted by Academic Committee which consisted of Prof. Dr. Li Zhiqiang, Dean of the Faculty of International Studies, Prof. Dr. Song Zhihui, Prof. Dr. Penghui Wang, Prof. Dr. Lia Hao and Dr. Changning Chen.

Speaking at the reception, Prof. Dr. Li Zhiqiang stated that he knew Dr. Akkan Suver with the speech he made within the framework of the One Belt- One Road Project on Chinese Television and made a comprehensive presentation about Sichuan University. Dr. Akkan Suver stated that the high values of the University are equivalent to the fact that Chengdu City is a center of history, civilization, culture and ecology center.

Dr. Suver invited Prof. Dr. Li Zhiqiang to the 23^rd Eurasian Economic Summit. Dr. Akkan Suver from Marmara Group Foundation, MP Tuğrul Türkeş, MP Deputy Şamil Ayrım, Prof. Dr. Sedat Aybar from Aydın University, Dr. Murat Aslan with İstikbal Deniz from SETA Research Center were present during the visit.
